At the Blindeweg workshop in Rotterdam, an international train manufacturer is overhauling driverless metro trains from Copenhagen. The trains are fully stripped and rebuilt. We are looking for 3 mechanical fitters to start as soon as possible. Day shift, fixed team, work you won't find anywhere else.
Wat ga je doen
You work on the fine-mechanical side of the overhaul: door systems, sensors, actuators and interiors.
- Dismantle and overhaul automatic door systems
- Adjust and test doors, sensors and actuators
- Remove and refit seats, floors and interior panels
- Work to repair protocols with calibrated tools
- Document your work
Also a good fit for a service technician, maintenance fitter or mechatronics technician from another industry. Rail experience is not required.
Waar ga je werken
A modern workshop in Rotterdam where a compact team works on distinctive rail vehicles such as metros and locomotives. Projects range from months-long full rebuilds to quick repairs, with a focus on safe, precise mechanical and mechatronic work using professional equipment.
Wat wij zoeken
- MBO 3 or 4 (or equivalent vocational level) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or automotive
- Experience with mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
- Dutch or English
- VCA-VOL and forklift certificate, or willing to obtain them

- €2,900 to €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience
- 25 holidays + 13 ADV days, travel allowance
