Component Services Program Manager
You get your own service programme for aircraft components to run: from commercial agreement to repair decision, from inventory strategy to customer review. As Component Services Program Manager in Hoofddorp you work with engineering, supply chain and customer support on the availability, cost and quality of components for airlines and lessors. A first or second step after a technical degree and a few years in consultancy, engineering or supply chain, with real ownership from day one.
Wat ga je doen
As Component Services Program Manager you are responsible for one or more integrated service programmes: packages of avionics, pneumatics and power generation components managed as one whole for a customer. Your programme is your business: you steer availability, cost, turnaround time and margin, and you account for the results to the customer.
- You lead the programme from proposal through execution, monitoring and improvement.
- You make substantiated decisions on repair versus replace, insourcing versus outsourcing and stock levels, together with engineering and the rotable team.
- You run business reviews with customers, report on programme KPIs and flag risks and opportunities.
- You coordinate daily with procurement, customer support, supply chain and the workshop so that all flows stay aligned.
- You spot commercial opportunities within existing programmes and contribute to new service proposals.
You join a team of programme managers under the Head of Programs, within an international MRO organisation for aircraft components. Technical depth is not a goal in itself, but you must be able to challenge an engineer on a repair decision and explain to a customer why a component is or is not in stock.
